It is estimated the population of Western Australia will grow by up to 475,000 people in the next 10 years (Bernard Salt/KPMG). This is the fastest population growth, by percentage of State population (2.6%) in Australia (Access Economics and CBRE, Jan 2009).

This growth, combined with low vacancy rates, high demand and an increasing trend towards inner-urban living (Bernard Salt/KPMG) presents great investment potential for central Perth.

Riverside presents a unique and exciting investment opportunity. It will attract up to 6,000 new residents and 1,700 new employees. It is expected to involve up to $130 million investment from EPRA and approximately $750 million from the private sector.

Development in the Queens Precinct, the first stage of the project, is well underway and the Waterbank site, adjacent to the Causeway, will be the next precinct released for sale.
