Formerly industrial land, Belvidere was rejuvenated to create a cosmopolitan community of 200 lots, combining a mix of housing and commercial development that articulate a rich urban character and create a friendly village environment.

The design of the precinct accentuates the area’s relationship with the Swan River through the creation of a central linear park that runs perpendicular to the foreshore. The built form is compact and buildings of complementary height and scale frame the adjacent streets and linear parkway. Mixed uses on the south side of the precinct have blended the residential areas with the existing commercial sites.
