The Public Art Walk has become a drawcard for the area - most of the artworks incorporate recycled materials from the demolished East Perth buildings and pay homage to the former industrial area and local indigenous heritage.
Numerous parks encourage community interaction. For example, Victoria Gardens and Mardalup Park are popular picnic spots, with barbeques and parking available free of charge. Mardalup Park has a children’s playground, while Victoria Gardens has large climbing rocks for games and exploration.
