EPRA has transformed Claisebrook Village from an industrial wasteland into a metropolitan waterfront community, combining quality residential and commercial development with beautiful parkland, waterways and public art.
The Village is located just off East Parade in East Perth and comprises 137.5 hectares of riverfront land on the city’s eastern doorstep. It has stunning views of the river and the city skyline, and an abundance of parklands, gardens, lakes and the stunning Cove. The State’s largest inner-city urban renewal project at the time, it is now home to more than 2,500 new residents.
EPRA’s work in Claisebrook Village is 85% complete. Planning control of 73% of the project area was returned to the City of Perth in January 2002. The next stage of a further 12% will be returned to the City of Perth in late 2009.
